PURPOSE:To prevent generation of a film layer caused by a toner material, and also to maintain a cleaning effect for a long period of time, by planting the brush fur contacting with the surface of a photosensitive body, on a supporting cylinder with low density, and providing a supporting member for supporting an intermediate part of brush fur. CONSTITUTION:On the circumferential surface of a supporting cylinder 1 which is connected with a driving mechanism and is rotated at a high speed are radially planted with comparatively low density plural pieces of brush fur 2 which is made of rayon, nylon, etc. On the circumference of each piece of brush fur 2 is also planted brush fur 3 which is shorter than this brush fur 2 and becomes a supporting member. A fur brush 4 which has been formed by said supporting cylinder 1 and the brush fur 2, 3 is placed so as to be opposed, in the proximity of a photosensitive body 5 which is rotated in the direction as indicated with an arrow. In this way, it is possible to prevent generation of a film layer caused by a toner material, on the surface of a photosensitive body, and also a satisfactory cleaning property can be maintained extending over a long period of time. |
