<p>A connecting ring, with profile surface, made of glass-fibre-reinforced plastics, or other material is inserted in section ends, which are gripped on the outside by clamping strips and/or clips fitting the profile, to connect sections of ventilating pipe made of flexible materials. The ring (1) has a laminated reinforcement. In conjunction with pipe sections (3,4) fitted with end rings (5,6) the ring (1) can have a central, outward-facing bulge (7), protruding beyond the pipe section, to accommodate the reinforcement (2), which can consist of a wire running round inside it.</p> |
