Carbon pantograph slipper with a metallic carrier for current collectors of electric power units, consisting of a carrier and a bonded-on or soldered-on carbon whose undersurface, viewed in the transverse direction, is either arcuate or has obliquely extending faces such that the resulting differences in the height of the carbon are approximately equal to the level of the carrier edges which laterally surround the carbon approximately at the same level or of the tin layer applied there, as a result of which both the transversal strength of the carbon/carrier composite body and the resistance torque of the carrier against flexural stresses are increased. |
