The container is made of foldable material, and of size and shape suitable for the pier to be established. It has at least one filler pipe socket and is used in insertion of piers made from bonding back filling material in mine working areas, esp. in the edge of galleries to be secured. A blocking device or stop is introduced into the pipe socket. This can be a stopcock, or a flap, esp. throttle valve, or a slide, or check valve. One or more excess pressure valves may be incorporated in the container, esp. in the upper part.
