Rotary IC and turbine engine - has turbine driven expanding burning gases from revolving rotor

The engine has a rotor (1) revolving in a cylindrical stator (3). The rotor has semicylindrical recesses (2) each of which receives a charge of foel air mixture as it passes an inlet port in the stator. The charge is carried in the recess to a section of the stator which contains the sparking plug (4). After ignition the expanding gases pass through an outlet port (5) into a turbine (6). The turbine is at the side of the stator and its casing can be made integrally with the stator. The expanding gases entering the turbine casing impinge on the turbine rotor and cause it to rotate.
