Process for reducing the ammonia concentration in domestic animals or poultry

Reducing the ammonia concentration in the intestine and in the blood of domestic animals can considerably improve their health status. A process for reducing this ammonia concentration therefore provides that, in the feed and/or drinking water, multhiomycin is administered to the animal in an amount effective for reducing the ammonia concentration.
