<p>PURPOSE:To economically change the speed of tractor apart from speed-change gears, by connecting a friction clutch in series with the transmission having the speed-change gears, and by changing the output numbers of revolution of the gears apart from the stages of speed, within the range of speed changing rate among each speed change gear. CONSTITUTION:In this speed control device, the speed of a tractor is changed by the main transmission. In order to change speed continuously apart from the stages of speed within the range of speed changing rate in the transmission having speed change gears, the action of a spring 46 is controlled by controlling the oil pressure of an oil chamber 49 in the oil pressure actuator 44, and the friction clutch 6 is controlled in various rates of engagement from fully engaged condition to the slip driving condition. As a result, the speed among each stage of change in the main transmission 8 having speed change gears is covered by the friction clutch 6 apart from stages, therefore, the speed of the tractor is controlled continuously among the speed stages.</p> |
