PURPOSE:To improve the gradient of a copied image by specifying an amount of exposure energy, without applying through an original and that of the exposure energy applied through the original, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A sensitizing paper 2 has the sensitive characteristics in which the exposure density of the surface of the paper does not change until the amount of the exposure energy applied to the surface of the paper reaches to a point E1, and said density slowly changes at the time of exceeding the point E1, and said density reaches a saturated state at the time of applying the amount of the exposure energy at a point E2. For example, the light coming from a light source lamp 3 is irradiated on the paper 2 without setting the original 1, and the exposure energy is applied to the paper 2 in an amount of the E1 point. Next, the light is irradiated on the paper through the original 1, and the exposure is stopped at a prescribed stage between the points E1 and E2. Subsequently, the paper 2 is transferred to a pressure device, thereby developing by reacting substances contd. in the paper 2. And, the titled method may be carried out by changing the order of the exposure as mentioned above, and may be applied to a color copying. |
