PURPOSE:To permit the articles to be worked which have a variety of shape, to be lapping-worked efficiently without being damaged, by varying the material of a lap and the thickness of the lap and varying the working pressure for the article to be worked and varying the lap supporting method and varying the contact surface and the contact angle between the article to be worked and the lap. CONSTITUTION:An article to be worked 11 is installed onto the worked-article supporting part 12, and the lap 13 made of thin spring material is installed onto the lap supporting part 14. The lap supporting part 14 is loaded onto the lap driving part 14 on a base 16. The worked-article supporting part 12 pushes the article 11 into the lap 13 and provides a prescribed movement to the article to be worked 11. On the other hand, the lap 13 performs revolution or 8-figure movement in the elastic deformation state with the lap driving part 15, and a variety of complicated curved surfaces are lapping worked on the article to be worked 11 by the repulsive force due to the elastic deformation of the lap 13. |
