RECOVERY TREATMENT OF PAINT DREGS

PURPOSE:To carry out the treatment of recovered paint dregs efficiently by subjecting the paint dregs recovered in a paint dregs recovery apparatus to heat treatment to convert said paint dregs to a particle with low viscosity. CONSTITUTION:The paint dregs 5 generated in a painting chamber 1 are introduced into a recirculating tank 12 with washing water 8 throgh a discharge pipe 11. The paint dregs 5 precipitated to a bottom part of the recirculating tank 12 are supplied to a paper filter by a pump 16 to separate the recovered paint dregs 5a and said paint dregs are heated in a heat drying machine 24 to recover as the paint dregs 5b with low viscosity in a particle form. Further, in the heat drying machine 24, air 27a preheated in a preheater 25 by using a waste gas from the heat drying machine 24 is sent to a heat exchanger 29 and heat exchanged with steam 31 of a boiler 30. The heated air 27a is sent to the heat drying machine 24 through a line 32 and an air nozzle 33 to heat the recovered paint dregs 5a on a belt conveyor 34. Thereby, the low viscosity paint dregs 5b with easy handling property are obtained.
