<p>PURPOSE:To change the processing quantity of coin in accordance with certification by reading out the shape of an identification (ID) medium, e.g. a substance such as his things, to be comparatively optionally selected and set up by a person himself and executing certification based on the shape data. CONSTITUTION:The shape data of a prescribed certification medium, e.g., a ball-point pen, a pocket notebook are previously recorded in a magnetic card 12. The data recorded in the card are read out by a card reader 20 and stored in a card data buffer memory 12. On the other hand, the shape of a certification medium 2 whose shape data are previously recorded on the card 21 is read out by an image scanner 3. The output of the scanner 3 is processed by an image processing part 4, converted into shape data by an operation control part 5 and stored in an image buffer 11. A comparing part 6 compares the storage contents in both the buffer memories 11, 12 and outputs an identified result IDR. A coin handing quantity determining part 60 determines the handling quantity in accordance with the identified result IDR.</p> |
