The present invention makes it possible to embody in space family relationships between people, whom three-dimensional figurines are supposed to represent and who may be identified by the biographical information they carry: photos, drawings, texts, dates and so forth. The figurines (1), (2), (3), (4) comprise rotatable parts (5), (6) allowing the whole of space to be used to represent complex family trees. The figurines may be connected together by a specific device embodying the child relationship (7), by another specific device embodying the sibling relationship (8) and by another specific device embodying the marriage relationship (9) and more generally the sexual relationship. The present invention has applications in the field of games and the teaching of history and mythology, for example, and also for the needs of certain professionals - solicitors, genealogists, novelists, historians, heraldists, geneticists, specialists in pedigrees (in which case the figurines would represent animals) and so forth. <IMAGE>
