PURPOSE:To make a terminal in a minute size and to realize a low cost by furnishing plural conductive connecting terminals at the side of an inserting groove of an insulating housing, and forming an insulating plate to give the connecting pressure, which is contacted to and separated from the terminal by a spring pressure, opposing to the terminal. CONSTITUTION:At first, the end 4b of a conductive connecting terminal 4 and an external element and the like are connected. Then, a connection pressure giving plate 5 is separated from the terminal 4 by pressing a flange 8, and the opening of an inserting groove 3 is opened. And by inserting a printed circuit board 30 to the groove 3 and releasing the flange 8, the plate 5 makes the connection of the board 30 contacted strongly to the terminal 4 and fixed to a printed circuit board connector 1 by the reaction force of the spring. On the other hand, when the board 30 is separated from the connector, the opening of the groove 3 is opened by pressing the flange 8, and the board 30 is pulled off. Since the contacting pressure is given by the plate 5 in such a way, no deformation or displacement of the terminal is generated. Consequently, the terminal can be made into a minute size and the connector can be manufactured in a low cost. |
