PURPOSE:To continue control without interrupting a muCPU, by providing a floppy disk controller with a memory for reading and writing-in. CONSTITUTION:When a muCPU1 reads in data from a floppy disk 4, the data is written in a reading buffer 61 temporarily via a floppy disk controller 3, which then transfers a completion signal to the buffer 23 of a memory 2. On the other hand, when the muCPU1 writes data in the buffer 23 onto the disk 4, one block of data is written in the writing buffer 62 of a memory 6 and also written onto the disk 4. On the transfer to the buffer 62, a completion signal is sent to the muCPU1. Thus, while the controller 3 is being accessing the disk 4 and transferring the data, the muCPU1 performs another task. |
