PURPOSE:To fit up a lead wire firmly to the brush without damaging the brush main body by a method wherein a penetrating hole is formed in the brush main body in the direction whereto pressure is applied for formation, and after the lead wire is inserted in the hole, fastening with a conductive metal powder is performed to fix the lead wire. CONSTITUTION:The penetrating hole 12 is formed in the brush main body 11 in the direction whereto pressure is applied for formation. The brush main body 11 is put on a cradle 14, and a protruded part 13 formed on the cradle 14 is inserted into one side opening part 12a of the penetrating hole 12 and is fixed. The lead wire 15 is inserted from the other side opening part 12b of the penetrating hole 12, the conductive metal powder 17 like copper powder is poured in and is pounded with a pipe 16 to be hardened firmly. Finally the brush main body 11 is removed from the cradle 14, and the brush with the lead wire for electric machine is manufactured. Accordingly the metal powder 17 can be pounded to be hardened with sufficient impact pressure without considering the damage of the brush main body 11, and fitting strength of the lead wire 15 can be enlarged. |
