PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic receptor capable of forming a printing plate with superior endurance using a light source with longer wavelengths than 0.6mum by forming a carrier transferring layer as the uppermost layer with a specifically blended Se-Zn alloy. CONSTITUTION:On an electrically conductive substrate 1 such as an Al plate a carrier generating layer (CGL)2 made of Se-Te alloy and a carrier transferring layer (CTL)3 made of Se-Te alloy are formed to obtain an electrophotographic receptor. At this time, the CTL is made of Se-Te alloy contg. 4-28wt% Zn. The receptor has superior hardness and high sensitivity even to light with longer wavelengths than 0.6mum, so it is suitable for use as the receptor of a device using He-Ne laser with 0.6333mum wavelength. |
