PURPOSE:To make a complicated soft program unnecessary and to enhance safety of an apparatus, by disconnecting power supply to a processing means driving part upon detecting abnormality of clock pulses. CONSTITUTION:Voltage VCC is applied to a controller 12 with a power supply circuit for control on closing of a main switch SW1 to execute a predetermined processing flow. Turning on a transistor TR11 turns on TR6 and TR5, too, and voltage VAA is applied to an apparatus driving part from a power supply controller IC7. Turning on a copying key turns on a driver 22, a relay 13, and a motor 14, and a copying cycle is executed. A clock number for executing a rotation cycle is set in RAM in the controller 12, and when a drum clock DCK does not enter a detection circuit, TR43, 11, 6, 5 are successively turned off, output of the voltage VAA is disconnected, and the action of the apparatus driving part stops, but power supply to the controller 12 is kept on. |
