PURPOSE:To print data effectively by alternating a left and a right direction by an (m)-scale up-down counter, by advancing (x)-directional addresses successively by a full-adding circuit, by advancing longitudinal-column addresses by a longitudinal-column selecting circuit, and by fetching and printing data from a storing circuit. CONSTITUTION:With the 1st pulse of a signal TS4 from a timing signal generating circuit 2, a latch circuit 6 with an A/B selecting function latches data B from a full-adding circuit 4. Then, a longitudinal-column selecting circuit 9 outputs data of an (x)-directional (m) address and a (y)-directional 0 address in the storing circuit 3 for right-directional printing. With the 2nd pulse of the signal TS4, the data is inputted to a print data latch circuit 10 and data for the 1st wire is shifted. This operation is performed for every wire and the last (n)-th signal TS4 opens a gate circuit 12 to print the 1st-low and 1st-column data at a time. Then, an (m)- scale up-down counter 8 is switched for left-directional printing, which advances in the column direction. |
