<p>24 Implantable artificial blood pumps and blood pump diaphragms are descried. The blood contacting surfaces have pores therein which communicate with a subsurface of interconnected pores. This structure induces tissue formation thereon and avoidance of the incidence of thromboembolism.</p> |
