PURPOSE:To improve safety by deciding on an operating method of a nuclear reactor for attaining a purpose by previously expressing the purpose and the operating method by a logical tree and by using the logical tree if an accident occurrs. CONSTITUTION:A purpose 1 is for reduction in radioactivity, and subpurposes 2-4 for securing the securing A of fuel soundness, the securing B of the soundness of a housing container, and the securing C of the soundness of a nuclear reactor building; and operation 7 is performed as to systems and equipment required to attain the subpurposes. Those elements 1-7 are ANDed 5 and ORed 6 as logical trees, which are incorporated in a computer 9. When a purpose is set automatically with a signal from a boiling water type reactor plant 8 or by operator's intervention, the subpurposes are determined by the logical trees. Then, the determined operation and logical tree are displayed on a CRT10 and the operator performs the operation according to them. |
