PURPOSE:To always record an optimum sound signal by supplying a PCM demodulated signal to a first audio circuit when the contents of an FM demodulated signal are same as those of the PCM demodulated signal and supplying the FM demodulated signal to the first audio circuit when the contents are different. CONSTITUTION:A PCM audio signal to be transmitted from a broadcasting station side includes a code (C4 bit in control data C0-C4) to identify whether the contents of an FM audio signal are same as those of a PCM audio signal or not. A PCM decoder 5 discriminates the contents of the C4 bit and when the contents of discriminated results are same, a switch circuit 6 executes switching so that the PCM demodulated signal can be supplied to a normal audio track allocated to FM demodulated signal as a recording signal, and when the contents are different, switching is executed by the switch circuit 6 so that the FM demodulated signal can be supplied to the normal audio track as usual. Thus, the optimum audio signal can be always recorded. |
