The invention relates to a noise supressor specific for suction in volumic blowers with profile rotors, of ROOTS-type, designed for all engine-blower groups running at constant speed and used in the pneumatic transport of powder materials, as for instance in the panification industry, cement manufacturing plants, metal, chemical, naval, nuclear industries, etc. The noise supressor for suction blowers, according to the invention, has, inside the main resonator, two groups of circular resonance chambers, concentrical with the admission pipe; their volume communicates with it through two groups of routes of a certain length and diameter; the two chamber groups are symmetrically located at equal distance from the axis of the blower admission flange.
