Platform with lateral hooks for tubular scaffolding - incorporates triangular rings which, on rotation, prevent removal of inserted scaffolding component

A platform for tubular metallic scaffolding is provided with inverted U-shaped hooks (14) at its ends which locate over the horizontal components of the scaffolding. The platform is locked into position by rotating at least one closed metallic ring (16) which is triangular, pref. isosceles, in shape and has at least one side (18,19) of predetermined length. The rings pass through holes (17) formed in the side wall (14b) of the inverted U-shaped hooks and by rotating in ancca clockwise direction, allow the scaffolding component to be removed.
