This invention relates to a retractable spout and refers to a bag- like liquid container mounted in a box or other relatively rigid container, such spout including a tubular bushing 8 attachable to or attached to such liquid container, a hollow control member 9 mounted slidably in the bushing, an outlet opening 30 adjacent an outer closed end 20 of the control member, said opening being exposed or concealed by sliding said member in the bushing, a spout-like structure 31 within the control member about said outlet opening, and with cooperating stop means 19, 16 on the control member and bushing to limit the sliding movement of said member. Also provided are a hinged flat 27 with lugs 28 which acts as a security latch and side portions 23 which facilitate manual actuation of control member 9. <IMAGE> |
