A land grading machine comprising: a frame having support means supporting the frame for movement in a forward direction across a ground surface; a scraper blade for engaging the ground surface during such movement to effect grading by scraping ground material thereonto and therepast; a conveyor positioned and arranged to receive and store ground material from the scraper blade and selectively operable to move so received material away from the scraper blade; whereby when ground material builds up to a predetermined level on a part of the conveyor adjacent the blade, the conveyor can be moved to position a different part thereof adjacent to the scraper blade for reception of ground material.
