PURPOSE:A hair cosmetic having improved antistatic properties to hairs and hair combing properties, comprising specific amounts of a quaternary ammonium salt of mono 16-18C alkyl and a quaternary ammonium salt of mono 20-22C alkyl as essential ingredients. CONSTITUTION:A hair cosmetic comprising 0.1-3wt% quaternary ammonium salt (e.g., stearyltrimethylammonium chloride) shown by the formula I (R1 is 16-18C alkyl; R2, R3, and R4 are 1-3C alkyl, etc.; X is halogen or 1-2C alkyl- sulfuric ester residue) and 0.1-3wt% quaternary ammonium salt (e.g., docosyltrimethylammonium chloride) shown by the formula II (R5 is 20-22C alkyl; R6, R7, and R8 are 1-3C alkyl, etc.) as essential ingredients in a weight ratio of the compound shown by the formula I to II 1/1.5-1.5/1. Usable in various kinds of uses, e.g., hair rinse, hair conditioner, etc. |
