PURPOSE:To obtain the output frequency high in stability with a low consumption current, by operating an oscillating circuit high in frequency stability intermittently and correcting the output frequency of a pulse generating circuit through the use of detected frequency error. CONSTITUTION:A crystal oscillating circuit Q2 is inoperative at all times, and a timing pulse generating circuit T receives an output of a frequency divider circuit D2 adjusted to the objective frequency of a crystal oscillator Q1 and produces the pulse having a short time width every fixed time. Only during the pulse generation, the oscillator Q2 is operated and the frequency difference between Q2 and the oscillator Q1 is taken at an instrument circuit A, desired data conversion is made at a data conversion circuit DT and latching is made in a latch circuit L. A correction circuit B receives an output pulse of the frequency division circuit D2 and this data to correct the output frequency of the oscillator Q1. |
