PURPOSE:To obtain a heat sensitive recording material, in which a heat sensitive color forming layer containing a specified compound is formed on a substrate, and which shows a sharp color forming characteristic by minute thermal energy and gives a clear color forming picture in high concentration. CONSTITUTION:A coating liquid is acquired in such a manner that, (B) an organic acid or a phenolic substance forming a color from a (A) component of a colorless or light-color leuco-body by heating, (C) a binder and (D) the compounds of formulae I-III (R1 is 1-30C alkyl or phenyl which may have a substitutional group; R2 H, halogen or 1-4C alkyl; R3 1-30C alkyl; R4 and R5 H, halogen, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy; n 0.1) of 0.05-4.0wt. part to 1wt. part A component are compounded to (A) the colorless or light-colored leuco body, and dissolved in water. The substrate is coated with the coating liquid, the liquid is dried and the heatsensitive color forming layer is formed. |
