PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity of the color formation of a heat sensitive recorder obtained by containing an organic amine, which does not dissolve or is difficult to dissolve in water, in a heat sensitive coating liquid consisting of a dye precursor and a phenol compound functioning as a color former. CONSTITUTION:(C) The organic amine, which does not dissolve or is difficult to dissolve in water, such as 2-aminobenzothiazol, diphenyl amine, etc. is compounded to the heat sensitive coating liquid being composed of (A) the dye precursor, which is colorless or light-colored normally, such as crystal violet lactone, benzoyl leuco- methylene blue, etc. and (B) the phenol compound, which can form a color from the A component under heating, such as bisphenol A, p-phenyl phenol, etc. in approximately 5-50wt% of total solid matter. A substrate, such as paper, a synthetic resin film, etc. is coated with a water dispersed liquid of a mixture obtained together with a binder such as polyvinyl alcohol, and the heat sensitive recorder as the target is acquired. |
