PURPOSE:To prevent the increase in temperature exceeding the established value of the recuperator in the recuperator which is provided in a fule in a heating furnace and the like and preheats burning air, by providing a bypass flue which detours said recuperator, and controlling a control damper in said flue. CONSTITUTION:The recuperator 2 is arranged in the main flue 4 betwee the heating furnace 1 and a chimney 3. The air is sent by a blower 5, heated by the heat of the exhausted gas, and supplied to burners 7 and 7 through a conduit 6. The bypass flue 8 is provided so as to detour said recuperator 2, and a control damper 9 is provided in said flue 8. The opening and closing of the control damper 9 are controlled by the output of a temperature sensor 10 provided in the conduit 6. If the air temperature in the conduit exceeds the established temperature, the control damper 9 is opened, and part of the exhausted gas is exhausted through the bypass fule 8. Thus the amount of the exhausted gas through the recuperator can be decreased and the excessive rise in the temperature of the recuperator 2 can be avoided. |
