Rotary mowing machine with a preparation device, in particular for large operating widths, for harvesting forage and grass. The aim of the invention is to simplify the construction of a rotary mowing machine with a preparation device and to design it in a space-saving manner, to improve its efficiency and to reduce the power requirement. The object of the invention, that of eliminating the requirement for additional driving elements for the preparation device and of uniting the cutting rotors and the preparation device in a single assembly, is achieved according to the invention by virtue of the fact that preparation devices (14) are situated across the catchment areas of the cutting rotors (5) and between the gearboxes (4), being arranged concentrically around the driveshafts (9). The preparation devices (14) consist of flanges (11) rigidly connected to the drive-shaft ends (10) of the gearboxes (4) and of spindles (12) mounted eccentrically in these flanges (11) and at the same radial distance from the drive-shaft ends (10).
