PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary for an exclusive maintainer to carry a developer recovery vessel with him, by storing said vessel always in each machine and connecting the guide plate of the vessel to a scraper member in recovering the developer. CONSTITUTION:A developer recovery vessel 15 is detachably mounted on a vessel guide 16 fixed to a unit fixing plate 17, and a developer recovery guide plate 22 is turnably fixed in the vessel 15. In exchanging the developer, the fixing plate 17 is drawn out in this direction together with the vessel 15 and the other devices through the guides 18, 19 and a shutter plate 9 is taken off to release a recovery opening 8. Then, the guide plate 22 is turned with a lever 23 and connected to a scraper member 11, and a developing roller 4 is driven to recover the developer into the vessel 15. In collecting the vessel 15, a procedure reverse to this order is taken, thus permitting an exclusive maintainer to be made unnecessary to carry a recovery vessel with him. |
