PURPOSE:To perform considerable light intensifying by providing a Fresnel lens on the bottom surface or side face of a lighting apparatus such as arbitrary electric bulb by leaving a suitable space from a lighting body. CONSTITUTION:A Fresnel lens 2 is provided to the bottom surface of, for example, an electric bulb 1, by maintaining a suitable distance. It is equally well to provide the lens 2 on the side face of the bulb 1. In this case, it is perferable to provide the same on the four sides of the bulb like a shade for the bulb. The lens 2 is essentially the one of a concentrical circle, but the one with grooves of parallel lines is used. With such constitution, light is intensified considerably. Hence, this is economical in terms of saving energy consumption. |
