PURPOSE:To make it possible to readily indicate and display the distance between a given position and a target, by combining the homing designating signal wave for an ultrasonic wave and the homing designating signal wave erasing signal generated at a given time after the generation of the ultrasonic wave. CONSTITUTION:When a repeated switch I connected to a power source E is closed, an ultrasonic wave is radiated from an oscillator F. Said ultrasonic wave is reflected from a target B and received by means of a receiver R, being delayed by the time t corresponding to the distance to the target B. Said received signal is converted, by means of a rectifier G, into a signal rising being delayed by the time t from the radiation of the ultrasonic wave and sent to a mixer M. On the other hand, the delay stage waveform generator D generates an erasing pulse rising a given time T after the switch I has been closed, which is transmitted to the mixer M. The mixer M generates an output covering a period from t to T. In response to said output, an indicating instrument K and an alarm A are operated. |
