The combined wall calender and planning chart consists of a large sheet divided into twelve horizontal bands. Each band represents one calendar month and is subdivided by oblique parallel lines into strips representing the days. Each horizontal band carries the name of the month and each oblique strip carries the date and a letter indicating the day of the week. The individual weeks are demarcated by colouring the strips which represent Sundays. The oblique strips provide spaces for writing notes about engagements etc. which are easier to read than is the case when the strips are vertical.
