PURPOSE:To give a distinction between a transmitter fault of the opposite station and a receiver fault of the own station, by deciding the presence or absence of an audio output in case the level of a limiter signal sent from the receiving part becomes less than a set value. CONSTITUTION:When the level of a limiter signal lowers and a limiter fault is detected at a limiter fault deciding part 4, a limiter fault signal is transmitted to a receiver fault deciding part 10. At the same time, a squelch open signal 11 is transmitted to an audio amplifying part 5, and the presence or absence of an audio output signal 7 is detected at an audio signal detecting part 9. If an fault is detected at a receiving part 2 or the amplifying part 5, no signal 7 is transmitted. Thus an audio output fault signal is transmitted to the deciding part 10. |
