<p>A valve adapted to control liquid pressure by sliding within a valve housing a bottomed tubular valve closure member having a porous peripheral wall. The pores are subjected to reverse flush by moving the valve closure member to a closed position and also by closing an open end of the valve closure member. The valve housing includes a passage for discharging the liquid from the valve at times of the reverse flush.</p> |
