ASBESTOS-FREE CEMENT BASED EXTRUSION FORMING COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To provide an asbestos-free based extrusion forming composition giving an inexpensive extruder formed body superior to a formability and workability such as a nail-driving with an addition amt. of a binder equal or less compared to the conventional asbestos cement based extruded formed product. CONSTITUTION:The extrusion forming composition consists of 0.5-10 parts wt. of asbestos-free fibers being <=50mum in the diameter and >=2mm in the length, 0.2-1.0 parts wt. of water soluble cellulose ethers consisting of hydroxyalkyl cellulose and/or hydroxyalkyl cellulose ethers being 40-100 deg.C of the heat gelling temp., 50-100 parts wt. of cement and 0-50 parts wt. of slica powders.
