The unit is used to make printed circuits from semi-transparent originals and consists of two boxes, one containing ultra-violet tubes (4) for exposure and the other (2) a development bath (7), for the exposed circuit board. The development bath contains an immersion heater (8) and a stirer (9). The bath is housed beneath the exposure window (6) and the circuit board placed on a movable tray (10). The tray is raised and lowered by a piston (11). A thermostat maintains the developer at the optimum temperature and the stirer ensures that the developer is refreshed around the board. The unit is powered by a standard single phase supply and the exposure controlled by a minute timer, for up to 7 minutes.
