PURPOSE:To enhance the function of a basic board by permitting the transfer of the contents of an external memory that a basic board possesses to the extension board side. CONSTITUTION:A basic board is provided with a multibus controller, disables an address buffer 6 and a data driver 7 and permits memory access from an extension board CPU20. The extension board is provided with an address buffer 28 for the multibuses, a data driver 29, and a transfer flip-flop 31, and executes the independent operation within the own board and access to the basic board memory through the multibuses. The constitution of both boards can perform data processing with input-output devices using a CRT console in the basic board in parallel. |
