Dyeing auxiliary for mixed polyester cotton material - to prevent frosting contains sulphated oil, fat or fatty acid salt and paraffin sulphonate

Auxiliary for dyeing mixed polyester-cotton materials contains 3-10 (wt.)pts. salt (I) of sulphated oils or fats or their fatty acids and 30-60 pts. paraffin sulphonate (II) in aq. medium. Pref. (I) are alkali(ne earth) or ammonium salts of prods. obtd. by sulphating (hydroxy) alk(en)yl carboxylic acids with 5-23C in the alk(en)yl gps. or their glycerides and pref. are 60-95% sulphated. (II) are alkali(ne earth) or ammonium salts of 6-24 C alkyl-sulphonic acids, esp. Na alkylsulphonates with an average alkyl chain length of 12-15C. The auxiliary prevents grey fog (frosting) in continuous dyeing of these materials by the thermofixing/thermosol and thermosol-pad-steam processes.
