PURPOSE:To accurately irradiate X-rays by test-irradiating an X-ray tube covered by a shutter, measuring tube current and voltage, adjusting each section to a set point, and irradiating the X-ray tube without the shutter. CONSTITUTION:The relative data between the tube current and voltage and the primary voltage of a high voltage transformer 5 and that between the tube current and voltage and filament current are stored in read only memory devices 17 and 18, respectively. When the tube voltage and current, and irradiation time are assigned on a photographic condition assignment panel 15, a slide transformer drive section 20 and a filament current control section 24 are controlled corresponding to them. A shutter 9 is arranged in front of an X-ray tube and test-irradiated in a short time. In this case, the tube current and voltage are detected by measuring device 13 and 12 and their difference for a set point is detected. The output of the drive section 20 and the control section 24 is controlled in accordance with this detection value, the shutter 9 is moved, and X-rays are irradiated to a subject 10 for a specified time. |
