PURPOSE:To perform accurate reading by slightly displacing an original in the direction perpendicular to its plane in or near an original read position thereby preventing the vibration of the original. CONSTITUTION:The free end of a contact member 31 which also serves as a guide plate is located near an original read part X, and is pressing one surface, top surface in the figure, of an original 25, by which the read position X is displaced slightly lower than the original conveyance plane Y formed by connecting the press-contact parts of both roller pairs 2-5. Since this original 25 is regulated of its movement by the member 31 in its read position X, the vibration of the original 25 is prevented irrespectively of the fluctuation in the feed speeds of the respective roller pairs 2-5. Thereby, the accurate reading is accomplished. |
