PURPOSE:To protect a power supply by using a transistor (TR) with a reduced collector loss by reducing the collector loss of a serial controlling TR at an increased load current. CONSTITUTION:A stabilized power source circuit to a load 15 is constiuted by connecting a driving TR5, an error detecting TR3 detecting a variation of an output voltage, a Zener diode 6 and diodes 13, 14 to a series controlling TR4. A diode 16 connecting a cathode to an emitter of the error detecting TR3 for error detection is added further to a collector of a driving TR5 of this circuit. Hereby, when a load current is increased the diode 16 is biassed to the forward direction to suppress the collector loss of the serial controlling TR5 and protect it. |
