<p>PURPOSE:To maintain a stabilized outer friction pad by fitting an antirattle clip to a friction pad, using both left and right detents on the outer leg of a disk brake and an opening in the center. CONSTITUTION:An antirattle clip 16 for a disk brake is plced between an outer friction pad 15 and an outer leg 6 of a calliper 4. The clip 16 is provided with an extended pring C which energizes a spring force to a central fixing point A, springs B1 and B2, and a pad 15 in the inside direction of disk diameter. The pad 15 is constantly fitted with detents 131, 132 of a leg which is a reaction part of the calliper 4. Furthermore, a reciprocal spring force works between the pad 15 and the caliper 4 in the direction of disk diameter, which produces an effect which prevents rattling during non brake of the pad 15.</p> |
