Convergence of the beams of an in-line gun shadow mask cathode-ray tube is provided by windings (14A-D, 15A-D, 16A-F) on a common core (10) and generating pairs of quadrupole and six-pole magnetic fields, respectively. The core is provided with non-magnetic ribs (11) each having a projection (12) for the purpose of locating the windings.
