PURPOSE:To enable to automatically start the engine by a method wherein centrifugal clutches respectively for driving and for starting, which are connected to a roller abutting against a tyre, are provided at the tip of an overlinng crank shaft and the magneto for a generator is fixed on a clutch housing. CONSTITUTION:At the tip of the crank shaft 2 is fixed to primary clutch housing 6 on which a centrifugal shoe 8 of the centrifugal clutch 7 for driving is mounted. On the other hand, a centrifugal shoe 12 of the centrifugal clutch 11 for starting is mounted on the secondary clutch housing 9. And the power is transmitted by pressing the roller 16 fixed on the shaft 15 of a driven pulley 14 against the tyre 17. The magneto 19 for the generator 18 is fixed on the primary clutch housing 6. When the bicycle starts to be run with pedals, the secondary housing 9 is rotated and when its rotation becomes a little bit higher, the centrifugal shoe 12 expands to press itself against the primary housing 6 to connect the centrifugal clutch 7 to revolve the crank shaft 2, resulting in enabling to start the engine. |
