METHODS OF CONTROLLING APHIDS AND PLANT VIRUSES USING MIXTURES COMPRISING A PYRIMIDINYL CARBONATE AND A PYRETHROID Methods for preventing aphid transmitted virus infections in plants and for controlling or eliminating aphids by the application to the plant or to the aphid or its enviroment of 2-dimethylamino-5,6-dimethyl pyrimidin-4-yl dimethyl carbamate (Compound A) and a pyrethroid, in particular cyhalothrin. Insecticidal compositions comprising Compound A and certain pyrethroids in combination with a diluent or carrier are also described and claimed.
