PURPOSE:To obtain a vacuum container provided with an air tight joint section of steady state and sufficient strength, by heating to press either of Ni, Cu, and Al suitable for mass production or a plural number of plating or deposited layers interposed between the Al and Fe members. CONSTITUTION:An input substrate 28 with an X-ray excited phosphor layer and a photoelectric cathode screen 27, grid 29, anode 30, and output phosphor plate 31 are sequentially arranged inside a container in each specified location starting from above. The input window 24 of this vacuum container uses Al or an Al alloy to increase its strength and has a convex structure which is swollen outside in a spherical shape. This input window 24 has also a peripheral section 41 with a flat which is vertical to a tube axis. This peripheral section is air-tightly welded to an intermediate metallic ring 42 whose semicross section forms a crank type. This intermediate ring 42 is made of a material easily welded to a cobalt metallic ring 42, such as Fe or Fe alloys like Fe-Ni-Cu and Fe-Ni-Co. Thus an air-tight joint section of steady state and sufficient strength can be obtatined. |
