DIESEL FUEL CONTAINING POLYALKYLENE AMINE AND MANNICH BASE Disclosed is a fuel additive and a fuel composition. The additive comprises a mixture of a polyalkylene amine and the reaction product of an alkylphenol, an aldehyde and an amine. The additive provides surprising stability in preventing thermal degradation of fuels, particularly fuels for compression ignition engines.
